I am loving these cute little Elf hats. Too bad that I rediscovered crocheting AFTER my grandboys were newborns. I would definitely had pictures of them in these hats. But I can only hope that other newborns will get to wear them. In the meantime, I am having a blast making them and coming up with a written pattern. Most of my hats are made without a pattern. I know what I need to do to shape it and how many stitches I need to add for sizing, but I haven't attempted to put any of it down on paper. It is all in my head.
