Live Like You were Dying

We are doing a Study at Church based on Tim McGraw's song "Live Like You Were Dying".
It has really made me think about how I am living my life.
Am I living each day to the fullest?
Am I loving the people around me? Am I doing the things I would want to do if I found out I only had 30 days to live.
Happily, I can answer YES to those questions.
My sweetheart, Mike, is the most important person in the world. I spend as much time as I possibly can with him. I want him to know how much I love and appreciate him. And we love exploring together. We are 26 days and counting to the trip of a lifetime. We will be going to Kauai to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary. It will be awesome to spend time in 'paradise' with the love of my life.

I love keeping my grandbabies. There is nothing more important I could be doing at this point in my life. They are so precious and to trust them to strangers in a daycare setting would not only break their parent's hearts but also mine. In today's world it takes two incomes to get by, so I am blessed with spending time with my "babies" while mommies go back to work.

Having my mom with us, so I can take care of her as she ages is such a blessing. It is hard to watch her age and become more frail and forgetful. But watching her love her great grandchildren is so wonderful.
And then there is my art. I love to create and a day without spending some time in my studio is a sad and way to busy day.

Life is good. Are you living like you were dying?
Are you getting the most out of your relationships? Are you spending time doing quality things?
As Tim puts it so well......
"I went sky diving,
I went rocky mountain climbing,
"I went two point seven seconds on a bull named Fu Man Chu.
"And I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter,
"And I gave forgiveness I'd been denying.
An' he said: "Some day, I hope you get the chance,"To live like you were dyin'."
My hope for YOU is that you can start today, living like you were dying and when that day comes as it will for all of us........You will have no regrets.
