Me and My Boys

November 2009, I did a layout with embellishments I won on a Blog Challenge.

 I used a picture that was taken in April of 2008.  It was a picture of ME AND MY BOYS.  I loved this picture so much that I actually had it put on my Capitol One Credit Card so I could carry it with me all the time.  Well the card expired and I closed the account, but I still had my layout.  I framed it and hung it by my bed.  It is the first thing I see every morning when I wake up.  I love my Boys.

In the picture are from Left to Right:  My youngest Son, Zach, holding his baby boy, Adler.  Adler was 3 months old.  Of course, I am in the middle.  And on my right is Michael holding his baby boy, Drake.  Drake was 14 months old.

Fast Forward to the present.  I still loved waking up to my layout and my sweet boys, but things have changed in the last 3 yrs.  Drake and Adler have grown up and we added another boy to the family.  Tate Walker Lambert was born on October 5, 2010. 

My birthday was coming up, so I told my children that all I wanted for my birthday was to have another picture taken with ME and MY BOYS so I could replace it on the framed layout that hung by my bed.

April decided to get the family together to celebrate my birthday and so it was the perfect time to have a picture taken. They had even discussed it and decided to wear something that would match my original layout.  (except for the ball caps)  LOL

Mike took the picture.  We came home from the party and printed it for me and it was on the layout and framed within hours.  I am ONE HAPPY MAMA/GAMMI.

So here is the new version of my layout.

In the new picture from Left to Right: Michael and Drake who is now 4 1/2 yrs old.  Me in the middle holding Tate who is now almost 10 months old,  And Zach and Adler who is now 3 1/2 yrs old.
