Stamp and Bond and Glitter

Have you ever purchased a craft product but never used it?  And then found it several year later and decided  it is about time to give it a try?
Well that is what happened to be this week.  I was looking for some embossing powder and found a little jar  of Stamp and Bond.  Fellow Texana Designs team member Megan Bickers introduced me to it back in the day when we both worked as Scrapbook Crossing.

Stamp and Bond is a medium like embossing powder.  You stamp an image, sprinkle it with Stamp and Bond and then heat it with a heat gun.  It melts and gets shiny just like clear embossing powder.  But it takes it one step further.  If you sprinkle glitter on the melted powder and heat it again it melts and adheres the glitter to the image.  Below is a card I created using Texana Design Stamps and some glitter I had on hand.

Here is the sentiment up close.

And a close up of the square and boot image.
