Today is my Birthday

I have neglected my blog this summer to pay attention to other things.  We have had my son and his family here with us.  They are building a new home and their old house sold in 24 hours.  I have enjoyed having my sweet grandson's here and love spending time with all of them.

On July 19th we had a Sleepover at Gammi's.  Drake, Tate, and Adler had fun playing and imagining together for two days.

I have been painting.  I am refinishing some furniture.  And am painting all the walls on our first floor.  I am loving how it is all coming together.

We picked up this old sewing machine at a junk store in Llano, TX.  The cabinet was ugly and in bad need of a paint job.

So I updated it to match the Red/Turquoise of my new color scheme for my downstairs.

I refinished my end tables with chalk paint.

and created a stencil on my Silhouette for the top.

I have been busy crocheting.  Here is another post with pics of my latest Creations.

And I have been making Cards for Texana Designs.  It is such a blessing to be part of their Design Team.

Today will be a normal day.  I will enjoy being with family and friends.

Tomorrow my kids are having a party for me.

EDIT:  Friday is an day off for my sweetheart so we will find something fun to do this weekend
