Pop'Cycles

On Mother's Day my boys brought lunch to the house and we had a picnic in the backyard. Zach brought Popsicles for dessert. They were a big hit with Drake and Adler.
Now every time we go outside to play, the first thing Drake asked for is "POP-CYCLES" At first I thought he was asking to take his bicycle out side, but he kept saying "No" when I was taking it out. It finally dawned on me that he was asking for sicles not cycles.
Friday evening Amy came to Scrapbook with me. I started these pages then, but as usual, it took me a couple of days to complete them. And of course, I had to do two - 2 page layouts so each boy would have one in their own books.
This is Drake's page.
I made this page twice. One for each of the boy's books.
This is Adler's Page.

The background is Kraft Cardstock from Hobby Lobby.
All pattered paper is from the So Cool line by Imaginesce.
Corners Rounded with EK Success Large Purple Corner Rounder
Title cut with Hippie Chick Alphabet by Cuttlebug

The popsicles cut from plain cardstock. I used chalk to create shadows for depth and then covered the shadows with Ranger Stickles. The "puddles" are melted Suze Weinberg Ultra Thick Embossing Powder.

I embossed some of the cardstock circles using Cuttlebug embossing folders.
The orange circles are heat embossed using my Crackle background stamp by Rubber Stampede. I stamped with VersaMark and embossed with Ultra Clear Embossing Powder.
The layered border was punched using Fiskars Upper Crest Border Punch.
