THE FINISHED PRODUCT!!!!! Another Design Team Project

I cut lots of leaves out of KRAFT Cardstock using my Silhouette SD and a file I created to match my Texana Designs Oak Leaves Stamps.  The files have been added to my SKYDRIVE and you can download them HERE or on the Link on the SIDEBAR.
After cutting the leaves out, I used the Texana Designs Oak Leaves Stamps 001 (large, small, and mini) to stamp the images with VersaMark and heat emboss them with American Crafts Zing Embossing Powder.  I love this embossing powder because the colors are vibrant.

After heat embossing the leaves, I used my Ranger Inkssentials INK BLENDING TOOL Applicator Foam and Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Shabby Shutters, Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, Dried Marigold, and Vintage Photo to darken and add dimension to my leaves.  I loved how the distress inks made the heat embossed images POP off the paper.

To make my wreath, I started with a 12" x12" square of chipboard.  Using my EK Sucess Circle Cutter, I cut a ring out of the chipboard.

Using my "home made Dimensional Adhesive" made from light tan fun foam, I placed squares around the Chipboard ring to pop the leaves off the ring and add dimension.  If you want to know how I made my own adhesive you can check it out HERE

Some spots I used a double layer of the adhesive so the Leaves would not all lay flat on the paper.
To hang the wreath I punched 2 wholes in the chipboard and looped a ribbon through the holes and tied the ends together at the back of the wreath.

I used some ribbon, Prima flowers, and some silk autumn leaves from my stash to create a small fall bouquet.

I then positioned all my leaves and the bouquet onto the chipboard circle making sure it was well covered and everything was arranged in a pretty fashion.  I used my glue gun to secure everything so that it would have staying power.

I took a shipping tag from Office Depot and inked it using the same colors of Distress Inks as I did on the leaves. I then stamped  off the edges of the tag and heat embossed one at a time -first the large leaf with orange, and then the small leaf with green.  I then added the sentiment using TD049 Have a gratitude-filled day stamp and heat embossed it also.

I added a matching ribbon to the tag and it will make a nice gift tag to go with the wreath.

Oh my goodness gracious! This is amazing! I asked the family to give me a Silhouette for Mother's Day - they can blame that all on you. ;-)
